Draw a plant. Include leaf, flower, fruit and arrangement of  leaves on stems. Find out whether the plant is native or exotic and make an information card on it. Include where is was found, how many plants there are etc.

DESCRIPTIVE WRITING
Write about the life cycle of a gum nut!  Or write a poem about a tree in your school yard.

Refer to KBULG's Junior Landcare Resource Package for more activities - your Landcare Co-ordinator should have a copy.
KBULG would love to see students work relating to the environment - get students to send a copy of their work to the Landcare Office.  Prizes will be awarded.
